I know I’ve left everyone hanging for a while. It seems that when there is nothing going on I have all the time in the world to update my blog and when things are happening, I have no time.I have received the final, copy edited version of Touch of Fate for release on ebook ??? soon. All we lack now is the cover art. And now I will admit that it is my fault that the book has not yet been released. I vetoed the first cover art I saw because I had failed to properly communicate my vision of Marianne (the main character) to the artist. With luck, that has been corrected and the second cover art I receive will be wonderful.
I am glad that I have artistic control over the cover art. That is one advantage of working with a small press. I knew the moment I saw the first picture that it was not right and I dreaded telling my publisher, but there were no problems at all. So far, Twilight Times Books has been great to work with.
