Not so bad that I landed in the hospital, mind you, but bad enough that I could stay home, curl up on the couch with a mug of chicken soup, and watch the sort of movies that I\u2019ve seen a hundred times already and don\u2019t have to think about too hard.<\/p>\n<p>Those were the days\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Last week I was sick for the first time since I had my son. (He also had his first, and very mild, cold.) I had a cold, sore throat, headache, and cough. All the right symptoms for a cozy day on the\u2026 floor \u2026 playing peek-a-boo with my son \u2026 in between sneezes.<\/p>\n<p>Oh well.
