My baby is almost six months old now, so he and I are taking daily walks (as long as it\u2019s not raining). We go to the little park just down the way or swoop around the block.<\/p>\n<p>One of the things I am enjoying about summertime, now that I have a baby, are garage sales. Even discount stores like Wal-Mart don\u2019t sell new toys for less than $20\u2026more if it sings or flashes. I almost despaired before I noticed the signs and the buckets full of $1 items. Now we\u2019re pretty well stocked. I just need a rubber ducky.<\/p>\n<p>The other thing I love about summer is the pool. I have loved to swim for as long as I can remember and I intend to take my baby to the pool with me as soon as it is warm enough. Even better than the pool, of course, is the water park. Last summer I decided to skip the water park since I was pregnant, so I have to make up for it double this year!<\/p>\n<p>But the best thing about summer is the people. They all come outside again. It\u2019s a chance to meet new neighbors, and become reacquainted with old ones.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m off to play outside.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love summertime.
