Half of it was spent right here at home, relaxing and taking the kids to the pool &#8212; not to mention staying away from the stifling heat of my upper-floor study.<\/p>\n<p>Well, I&#8217;m baaaack. I read a few books last week, so I can get ahead on my reviews for once. I&#8217;m teaching a writing workshop this month, which usually inspires me with new writing tips. <\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>Also, this week I&#8217;m doing another virtual book tour, thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/topic\/show\/590554-christine-amsden-tour-begins-july-10th\">Positively Published!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>First stop: A new EXCERPT at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.speakwithoutinterruption.com\/site\/2011\/07\/virtual-book-tour-book-excerpt-from-the-immortality-virus\/\">Speaking Without Interruption<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>My husband upgraded Word Press this week, which, for some reason, means that Google Friend Connect no longer works.
